Then found a M1 Garand in a used bin at the LGS. Cabela's was the source for my M1 Carbine, it was a Plainfield Machine post war civilian but just as tasty and a lot more affordable at $300. I also picked up a Springfield M1A and a Springfield M1903-A3 to round off the collection.
