I've been meaning to come on here and share this one for some time. It's nothing unusual, just another 1940 Mauser with honest wear. I've had it for quite a number of years, and everything seems right except for a non-matching magazine (firing pin and such matches as well). I eventually picked up a spare mag and a loading tool to go with it, but have lost out on every reasonably-priced holster I've ever come across.

yes, I think its a very nice pistol.
Personally, I would find a nice 1939, 1940 or 1941 holster and just spend the money, waiting for a 'reasonable' one will just have the market go up eventually

That's the way I like them, nobody tried to "improve" that one.

If t'wer me, I would keep an eye on:
Ebay ( here is a good one ), SimpsonLTD, etc... A good source of really fine, absolutely authentic holsters and other luger items is an Ebay dealer: "Pre98". I'd think 2-$400 should get you a fine 1930's or 40's holster. Richard

Thanks, I'm keeping an eye on that one just in case it doesn't go out of sight like most I've seen lately.
