Realize that the web sites Tom gave you are "retail" and for an individual, take 20 to even 40% off. They are both trustworthy and good sites and usually who I point folks too, also, look at gunbroker and see what has SOLD in the last 60 days, not for sale, but actually sold...
Also, there is no such thing as a "black widow" variation, it is an american made up term, this does not mean they are not worth more than a luger with wood grips (the only difference); as they are. BUT, plastic grips that are very realiztic have been made for YEARS.... Welcome to the forum, pictures would help a lot, as value for the holster and mags could drop dramatically if they are wrong or repro's. Ed

Around here they go for about $2000-2250. They stay on the market for awhile tho.

Is that for the whole rig? Holster, tools, 2 correct mags, etc?

If you go to the websites suggested, you can get an idea on what you are looking at. 3 extra mags are worth $300-$500 for all 3, everything depends on how they are marked. i.e. 2 bakelite ones in nice shape, probably worth $400 for the two, any chips or nicks, price comes down. "incorrect" mags, does this mean they are repro's or ????? A holster $75 to $350, all depends on the shape or if its been cut down, etc. A tool, $40 for an unmarked, a marked one, about $85 and maybe more if specially marked. Ed |

I personally think that 2 matching numbered mags are worth a lot more than 2 bakelite mags.
Here is one for sale in CA. http://www.calguns.net/calgunforum/s...ighlight=luger jerry |

Edward
All the mags are genuine Luger mags, but 2 of them are not correct for this rig. One of the extras is an unmarked mag, supposedly that can be used "correctly" with any Luger. Just repeating what I was told. I am going to pull the trigger. I am getting an inspection period so I can check everything out thoroughly. |

Nice gun. Is there a marking on the front grip strap?

There is a marking on the front grip strap. Apparently it is unexplained. He said it looks to be from the period but no one knows what it is, do you have an idea?
