Default 1934-1935 mauser? Help and questions (good pic's of gun, holster & orginal bullets)..

Hello all,
A brief history here before I start. My Grandfather (dead for several years) picked this gun up while, iirc, on a battle ship in ww2. He seemed to pick up a lot of items from broke sailors, but this is one of coolest. Now my Grandmother still has this luger and she wanted me to take it. I told her she should sell it as it may be worth some money and buy a new car! So several months back I signed onto the forum to lean more about lugers and try and access a value on this piece.

I think I have it narrowed down to a 1934-35 Mauser Military, but please by all means let me know if this is correct (btw great info on the home page!). What lead me to this was the S/42, the â??Gâ? on the breach/slider and the three bird proof. Also it seems rare for a gun to have matching magazines and holster ( I assume it belongs with this gun) oh and bullets. Where & who would I find a value with or if you have an idea please let it be known.

Thanks and hope you enjoy the pics!
Mike
