Pricing and The Gun Blue Book

Is it just me or is the Gun Blue Book not really accurate. I know it can't be exact on every gun but it doesn't seem like a good reference guide.

I am talking specifically about shooter p08's. I also check gunbroker and auction arms and the prices don't match at all with the Blue Book.

What is the best way to determine value, other than what someone is willing to pay?
