Recently bought a Finnish Luger with a hole drilled just underneath the front of the firing pin.
![]() I suspect this was drilled to release pressure for the same reasons that firing pins were later fluted. Does anyone know if this was common practice in Finland, or could this just be the work of a garage gunsmith? Thanks, Luke
