We still shoot the long-range single-shot pistol and revolver here in UK, in spite of the difficulties involved. I was shooting my revolver last sunday. in fact. The thirty-shot group at 100m measures just over 2.5 inches, edge to edge, but is is only an otherwise standard revolver remember, albeit one with 12" bull barrel and a 2-7 Burris scope on top.
