Me too. They're certainly robust and some of the earlier ones are quite elegant, as Ron notes, (not to mention an extensive active service history).
One of the earlier guns you could get a speed loader for as well ? Quite an efficient design. Currently I have a WWII 38 and the equivalent Enfield copy. My Enfield is a nicer gun in many respects, but you never know what abuse they've suffered in the past. Shame about the anaemic caliber. So many guns, so little money ! |
