it seem that the first (500?) pieces was without german proof
I will give a bad note to Ned Schwing in is Military Firearms he said page 92 "the military serial range is 2000-500; the commercial range 01-21250 the were 2000 commercial and 3000 military models manfactured"
that why I beliewe first time it was a commercial luger
