The slide looks just like the late war 5th variation HSc's with the 3 heavy lines on the slide, smooth sight channel and the frame has no lanyard hole. Mag does not have the early Mauser banner. No proof or acceptance stamps and only the numbers 039 on the barrel and under the slide. (in the usual location). The grips are late war bakelite. The finish on the gun is better than late war examples I have seen with the metal parts being polished before the gun was blued although the blue job is not a very high quality and thin in some areas.
