I suggest you take your carry Luger down to a well stocked gunshop with holsters and find a standard 'barrel-down' version in the material of your choice and I think you will be surprised <img border="0" title="" alt="[Eek!]" src="eek.gif" /> to find that most shoulder holsters designed to carry a 4 inch revolver like a S&W Combat Masterpiece (Model 15) or Combat Magnum (Model 19) will work with your Luger because of the similarity of the frame and barrel profiles.

My preference is for an elastic closure that stretches as you pull out the gun, but velcro and mechanical snaps are your other choices... Just be sure to jump up and down a bunch to make sure your prize isn't going to fall out <img border="0" alt="[crying]" title="" src="graemlins/crying.gif" />

I was alway partial to Bianchi and Safariland holsters, but it has been literally decades since I bought one, and to each his own. <img border="0" alt="[bigbye]" title="" src="graemlins/xyxwave.gif" />
