1936 R&B holsters are uncommon but not the rarest of luger holsters. 1935 Heinichen holsters are very rare and the only 1935 military P08 holsters I am aware of. 1936 holsters by Auwarter & Bubeck seem the most common followed by other makers such as R&B (personal observation--not formal study). 1937 holsters are very very hard to find. 1938 through 1942 are very common and many makers appear among them.
A 1936 holster is not at all unusual for a 1939 luger. |
