I think that your price was good. It was not the deal of the century but a fair price. I have a 6" and like it very much.

They are not in high demand at this time but that could change. I think that they make a great shooter. Get a loading tool and you will be set. I bought some reproductions from Marstar. They are not the greatest but they save the thumb and are cheap. Lugerdoc on this forum has originals for a fair price but needless to say, more than a reproduction.

I also bought a couple of very nice blued ones from Orimar In Houston, Texas. They make the stainless steel Lugers but the loading tools I got are blued. Very well done and about the same price of the ones from Marstar which I do not think are nearly as nice.
