My best buddy Ken's (only guy I ever knew who got treed by an alligator, but then I'm the only guy lots of folks know who was run over by a Humvee. Whatever.) wife's parents own several apartment complexes and folks leave, move, die, ect. and things come up like this. Like everything else, its timing. I've got a 90% M40 single decal Luftwaffe helmet from the attic of a rental house, another friend while building his house lived in a small rental house for a few months, his wife saw a loose board in a closet, pulled out a very nice samauri sword and bayonet. Owner of the house said keep it, problem is they won't let go of it. Someone will probably find it in a closet in 25-30 years. I've got a 1911A1 Remington made in 1945. Magazine goes well with it.
