GT, this project does seem to have some merit, many thousands of 9mm cases out there! 30 Luger is expensive. Perhaps a longer/heavier bullet would make the functioning problem go away, it would be longer so the overall length could be the same, the heavier bullet might increase recoil affect. A cast bullet sized at .310" would seem idea, perhaps a 100-110 grain loading. Ted
