Hi,

I signed it too. My comment was "I support our troops 100%. Thanks!!!"

If our young men and women are willing to risk their lives the least I can do is support them 100% and not second guess their actions in combat.

wes; sorry, not my intention to call US troops for "occupiers". That's not the situation today.
I believe in peaceful solutions when ever it is possible, otherwise a war is justifiable. Like in Afghanistan where I supported US Military 100%.

It's the loss of civilian lives that worries me, but then again, what do I know.. I'm just a european robot;\

Well, I think there might be differning opinions here, which is fine, but the point of RK's original posting is this;

Unless you are there, in combat, facing people fighting against you, then those of us that are monday morning quarterbacks need to sit back and let the military decide if the marine was wrong or right. Not us.

But, although it may "appear" that he may have jumped the gun by shooting, I sure as hell am not going to judge the kid because he was there and I wasn't. I'd be mad if it was an MP, they are taught to take prisoners, combat marines are taught to kill combatants.

And funny enough, since I am a moderator, I'll end this thread on my last posting...
