Got the S/42 shooter back from Ted and it really looks nice. I got the DWM rust blue with strawed parts because I prefer the Imperial appearance and the receiver has a 1936 chamber date.

Out of curioisity I laid the refinished S/42 next to a 1913 military and a 1920 commercial that both have very nice original finishes. The bluing on the restored gun looks identical to the others. Not pretty close, but identical.

Ted also did some adjusting and tweaking to get the gun to function reliably for em. Thanks Ted.
