Hello Herb and Jan !

1. Does anyone know who "sig380" is ?

2. On the right side of the receiver, some inspector crowns appear to have been struck but not the inspector's gothic style letter. Does this mean the gun was rejected and then later Crown/RC'd ?

3. On the left side of the receiver, it appears the gun had a 4 digit serial originall struck and then redone with the "1". Was this typically done with the Crown/RC guns or would the original serial nubmer have been left intact ?

4. For the S-code Simpson's, what is the current thinking as to when these Simpson's were made ? Early 1930's ???

Regards,

Pete... <img src="graemlins/yltype.gif" border="0" alt="[typing]" />
