Although I might be playing with words, it is probably legal to buy the stock and own it in the US, but it might be illegal to attach it to a Luger pistol. I see no harm in having such a stock in a gun room laying next to a LP08, but it would not be advisable to take it out to a shooting range which could lead you to 'Club Fed'.

For those collectors who wish to pay 10% of the price instead of the 'real deal', this is not a bad way to go.
