Hello Ron,

If you do not have Randall Gibson's book on HK lugers, I would be happy to scan the 6 pages in which he deals with the many, various types of HK magazines...(just send me your private email address...).

Probably too much info and detail for one of our HK collectors to go into here on the Forum...

You might want to consider this book for your next luger book buy. In addition to details about the HK lugers, Gibson does go into details of the manufacturing characteristics of the other luger makers and how their guns differed from the HK guns. Good stuff to know about lugers in general...

p.s. Regarding the $ 1200 P-stamped HK magazine. Maybe it is $ 1200 asking price because the folks selling it may know the gun actually exists and there is a "premium" to get the magazine back together with the gun...???
