Since it has a date and with that serial number, I doubt it is a commercial. Probably the last commercial produced was near the start of WWI around 1913, possibly early 1914. Commercial Lugers would not have a chamber date and would have a 5 digit serial number. Is it 9mm? Does it have Crown/N proofs?
