Shade tree gunsmithing indeed. Judging by the marks on the side of the receiver it has been wrenched on pretty sloppily, and harshly, to replace the barrel. I'd vote for the barrel being a real Eagle/63 removed from another Luger--note that it has a witness mark.
It may well be a good buy at the right price. I'd be cautious about the receiver rails being in alignment due to the wrench work. --Dwight |
