It is different in every area. In Ca i can only purchase C&R long guns face to face and registration is $19, all others have to go through a FFL. If it is shipped to a dealer they can charge what they want but it is normally $50-150. The state comes in for their part which is registering, $47.19, sales tax, 10%, and 11% tax to fund violence prevention.
