Sounds like a good choice. I have a beautiful cased Loewe Borchardt with everything matching except the two magazines, and that doesn't bother me a bit.

Thank you Ron. Makes me feel much better( even though I never have buyer’s remorse )

Perhaps in the next thread you would let me pick your brain and …Borchardt archive / catalogue.

It would be cool if the owners of the Borchardts with mismatched mags could reach out to each other somehow , exchange mags and reunite their guns with the appropriate mags. Something tells me the Luger community might be already doing such exchanges.
