My gut is that anything that is 99% blue and strawing that looks so fresh has a good chance of being a restore. It doesn't say that on the website, and Simpson is usually pretty good at stating that. On the other hand, if I had a 99% gun, I'd ask more than what they are asking.
Its a very pretty gun and if redone, it was done very well. That said, I bought a simson in PA that was awfully nice and used to own a mauser that was 98-99% - so its possible. |
