You should mention in your for sale ad that the lug has been removed. That is a big deal.

It is my contention that there may not have been a lug on this frame. A ground-off stock lug leaves an area that looks nothing like this one, which is full, rounded contour. Dons' assertion that the frame's front has been ground and renumbered may support my assertion here.

Whoever put this Arty together may have used a frame without the lug, or did a heck of a bunch of work to fill in and properly contour the area from which the lug was removed.

Thanks, you're right! I was too specific. I should have said that he should point out that it doesn't have a lug (for whatever reason). That's not clear from the photos he posted. Not knowing that, since every Arty made had a lug (as far as I know) I would assume that it had one. 'Course, I wouldn't buy an $1100 gun from just those pics anyway, but that's another story...

And I agree that it doesn't look ground, unless it was filled. I have a Luger with the lug ground off, and it doesn't look at all like that.
