Don some of them guarantee an 1 1/2 group at 50 yards, from a ransom rest. I don't
have one and they are probably hard to carry concealed ,but sounds good. Like hold
on while I setup my Ransom Rest.

I'll bet any decent barrel, set up as a target rig, would do that from a Ransom rest!

You know the key to 1911 is in the barrel/bushing ; barrel hood/slide; and link/foot clearance and fit to achieve repeatable positioning.

After that it is just hold 'er steady!
