What! No way you need to pay $2k for a damaged luger, wait for another one. Not joking, a sound one won't go for that , unless it has some other "stuff" with it- you see "asking prices" higher, but if you are patient it is a $1500 item.

How to fix it, another hammer, judiciously applied; but see my first comment.

I'd give $500 for it, and hope the ear did not crack when straightened!
