I own a Series 70 full size commercial Colt with the collet bushing that I bought new about 1971 and have never had a problem with it.

That 1911A1 of yours looks great. Congratulations Sergio.
PS. More than great it looks brand new. Amazing for a 1943 pistol. My 1911A1. Mostly Ithaca but with a Remington frame, was rebuilt in Augusta Arsenal in the 50s and looks like it went through WWII, Korea and Vietnam before it found it's way into my hands. ![]() Last edited by kurusu; 05-09-2016 at 05:25 PM. |

I was shocked to find, while measuring barrel/muzzle diameters last night, that I have seven 1911-style handguns!
