In spite of what may be a personal taste "collectibles" are collectibles and should not have their marks and numbers painted if originally they were not,
![]() Anyway personally I love GLOCKs with painted numbers, but I prefer LUGERS, especially collectible ones, only with the GESICHERT painted, as they originally were.

I have done it on a few guns, but I'm not a great fan of it. It's nice if you want to show interesting and/or unusual stamps, and it can look pretty tasteful on guns that don't have many stamps (like Lugers). It can be a bit overwhelming if you overdo it though. For example: Import stamps should not be filled. ![]() |

Hello members-I'm expecting to receive an 06 Eagle with some white marking fill, which I personally don't care for.
I have a 3 day inspection period with the pistol. I don't know what was used for the white fill-how can I safely remove unknown white marking fill? Does the white letter fill sometimes damage the finish underneath? Will I mess up the original finish if I try to remove the fill? Thank you, Joe. |

You may want to remove the grips before you do it though, you don't want to get any solvent on them! |
