I fired 20 rounds from this one.

Astra 900 is a little bit too heavy, it's obviously heavier than Mauser. Compare with Astra 900's weight, conehammer is a feather. That's a disadvantage. The advantage is its trigger. Its trigger is as smooth and crisp as Mauser pocket pistol. It works well in range, just too heavy to hold it and raise arm straight to aim on target over... say... 10 seconds. As a C&R, it's perfectly fine and attractive, it has many "positive" points from C&R viewing angle: the shape looks odd, the structure is odd, it's very heavy, it's well finished, it's old and had a little bit history, etc.

If you ever shot a Remington Army cap & ball revolver you wouldn't say that. They are about the same weight. And if you ever tried a Colt Dragoon or even better a Walker, you would think the Astra is a feather.
