Stephan, I agree with the above. With the convex pin being installed off center in your aluminum bottom, this is most likely a DDR rework of an original WW2 mag. Tom

Hi Stephan, Your magazine is a perfect candidate for a replacement "fxo" black Bakelite bottom that both Lugerdoc and I sell.... They are an extremely accurate part, and although not original, they are the same material, and have the same appearance, and are, I would think, at least as desirable as an East German re-work... let one of us know if you'd like to pursue..... best to you, til...lat'r...GT......
