HI Albert,

I saw a similar triple pouch at the Tulsa gun show last October. It had the same "cross" stitching on the front of each pouch, but it was a triple, not a quad. It was also a russet, brown color. No maker's markings at all.

It was nice, had some wear, and looked period correct. The owner thought it to be a 1920's accessory. It held three very minty commerical magazines as well. He had just picked up the ensemble for over $ 1200 (if I recall correctly...).

I did not remember this vendor's name, but he usually has the same table at Tulsa. If I go again, I will get his contact info. His table is on the large floor, way past Shattuck and Simpson tables, but not as far as the south, opposite wall...

He did sell me the nicest M1900 Swiss insert magazine I have seen...

Regards,

Pete... <img border="0" alt="[typing]" title="" src="graemlins/yltype.gif" />
