I wish I had one like this for teaching my reloading classes. Nothing like a prime example to get students' attention... Marc

This photo and other views of this revolver have been around on other gun forums for quite some time. The majority of folks vote for overcharge(double/triple) with a low loft fast powder that made critical mass when the primer ignited. A S&W N frame is a rugged revolver, but there are, obviously, limits to it's strength.
