There can be a lot of work bringing one of these beasts back to life, but I'd seriously consider this one.
I'm currently restoring a HD Panhead with sidecar. |

Back in the early 1960s….I was stationed at Ramstein Air Base……and lived off base for awhile…..my landlady told me that at the end of WW2….her father was in Munich as a Dispatch Rider in a Wehrmacht Unit…..and rode a BMW…..since the War was over……he just rode it home…!!!…took it out in the barn….repainted it….and rode it for over 10 years…….then sold it….
she didn't say for how much…..but I just thought it was an interesting story …….Hans Fischer
