There can be a lot of work bringing one of these beasts back to life, but I'd seriously consider this one.

I'm currently restoring a HD Panhead with sidecar.

Back in the early 1960s….I was stationed at Ramstein Air Base……and lived off base for awhile…..my landlady told me that at the end of WW2….her father was in Munich as a Dispatch Rider in a Wehrmacht Unit…..and rode a BMW…..since the War was over……he just rode it home…!!!…took it out in the barn….repainted it….and rode it for over 10 years…….then sold it…. she didn't say for how much…..but I just thought it was an interesting story …….Hans Fischer
