Take some good sharp pictures and include closeups on all markings. Take them in natural shaded light (outdoors) and use a tripod and digital camera with a self timer - to avoid camera shake.
As Ed mentions, the value of Lugers can range quite broadly depending on many things. To be collectible it should be in a high original finish condition with all matching numbered parts. Marc
