The 1939 is actually a Code-42, my bad. I'd be remiss not to mention that G.T. both crafted a custom aluminum bottom for the project as well as modify an original FXO center pin magazine. I wanted a pre-1937 looking Luger finish including a heavy duty magazine with side pin attachment, but not showing any mag body below the frame(mag-well) like standard FXO's. I don't know if G.T. currently offers this non-standard modification since it risks cutting a perfectly good FXO to accomplish the task. Anyway, it is excellent with a perfect side "pin" retainer; G.T. also provided his performance package spring/follower for reliable 9mm feeding. This luger is pristine internally, tight, shows little to no mechanical wear, but best of all has a POW affect when looking at it in person thanks to Ted's dedicated craftsmanship.
