Ed, If I'm following you, your saying that this may have actually been a police gun and not a post war put-to-gather?

If so please elaborate a little on the SN. I haven't found anything in your book yet about SNs starting with a 0 (quickly I will admit I'm only part way through the book though--way too many irons in the fire. Retired in '92 and again in '00 and have more to do now than I ever did....
