Your 1939 looks like a 99% gun - is it refinished?

I use Still and Datig for books, I find them to be most helpful - Still is most accurate.

The previous owner buffed the safety unfortunately, so hopefully after a couple years or so, it should return back to its original patina.. the 39 is near mint; i had an advance collector check ALL 3 for refinish before i got them, & in fact couple of the lugers still had the whitish like powder underneath the grips when he took it apart.. I tried getting Still's book, but very very expensive!! perhaps i can add it to my wish list for x-mas
