Norme Always A Lifetime Forum Patron Join Date: Jul 2009 Location: Colorado Posts: 2,417 Thanks: 226 Thanked 2,607 Times in 933 Posts	Hi Jerry, Type 1 snail drum magazines were introduced in early 1917, and replaced after a few months by the far more common Type 2's, which were manufactured until the end of hostilities in Nov 1918. Since the drums were not issued with the guns, like the three conventional magazines, either type would be correct for your rig. Regards, Norm
