Spread it a bit, take a reading, check the result, spread a bit more, take a reading, rinse and repeat until it's straight. A slight "Z" won't bother me all that much, this will be refinished anyway so I'd rather file/polish the last few 1/1000 than working it until it cracks. Then again: I might chicken out and I need for someone to remove the barrel as well, so are you up to the challenge, GT? |
