I agree 100% with you Jerry. Our youth, and the public in general, has become desensitized to violence. Movies and television are filled with killing and massive demonstrations of firepower. An anvil can drop on Wile E. Coyote and he comes back to life, but the actors are not shown as being resurrected and the non-reality of "reality violence" is not depicted. The value of human life is no longer honored. Roy Rogers is not around to shoot the gun out of the villains hand and beat him senseless with his fists. America has lost its innocence and I fear it will never return.
