I read in the paper yesterday the moms was a into guns and went to the range with her sons.

My daughters, especially one, are into guns. She has an AR15, AK47, two \scoped rifles, a few shotguns, and two 9mm pistols, and almost forgot - a muzzlelloader rifle.

She has taken her two boys, now 12 and 16 to the range and hunting. The 12 year old boy got a deer last year. The older one got his first deer a few years ago.

The 12 year old boy has for the last year been shooting squirrels in the back yard with a bow and arrow. (If you think it is easy to do so, just try it.) Can't use a rifle as houses are too close.

Per se, there is nothing wrong with mom's being into guns.
