The following is some additional information on my Mauser Banner Luger.
"MAUSER" is marked on the toggle There is a "Crown U" proof mark on the left side just above the7418 serial no. There is what appears to be a cursive letter "W" on the front of the frame just below the 7418 serial no. It is chamber marked "1939" There is no sear safety There is no pitting and good blueing (85%) All parts are serial no. matched 7418 except the magazine which is number 9383 and has an aluminum base. It has good condition wood (walnut?) checkered grips. The seller tells me he thinks it is a commercial manufactured Mauser Banner Luger that stayed civilian and was never a military or police pistol.
