Phil, This WW1 holster is a common variety holster of this era. It does have unit markings and the addition of a cleaning rod holder under the flap which is most commonly seen on 1934-1936 holsters. I believe this to be a later addition. It is in reasnable shape although slightly distorted from another type of pistol being inserted long enough to stretch the leather. It escaped being dyed black and this makes it a little more desirable. I would give it a value of somewhere in the $150.00 ballpark although on a good day it could possibly reach a bit higher. I seem to remember this holster being up for auction recently? Jerry Burney
