I think it is necessary to distinguish between "cheap" and "inexpensive". "Cheap" infers low cost and shoddy workmanship. Of the links I have viewed here, the stands appear well made and inexpensive. They certainly provide a nice presentation of your favorite Luger and they represent good value for the money. I think you would do well with any of them. If you want to go with the Rolls Royce (more prestigious than Cadillac!) version you might consider GT's stand and affix it to your own base as I have done. It does what the others do but with that "class" that can only be obtained from a lot of effort, skill and fine materials. It costs quite a bit more but is really the only way to go for a rare and pristine Luger. And, no, I do not receive any commission for my recommendation...G.T. is my friend but not a business partner.
