Carbine Forearm Tangs
I'm looking at two carbine forearm tangs; they are quite different...
Should I ever come across one (or both) of these, exactly what are they indicative of??? Are there other types of carbine tangs??? Were these 'custom' conversions, with a variety of different tangs??? I've already see several different forends [wood]... Was there a master pattern??? More than one manufacturer/shop making them???
