What do you mean by cartouche? 1920's were simply carbines made up after the war for the American market. Some may have been fabricated in the States others in Germany. I feel that this is one that was put together in Germany. I have another here that may be American manufacture.

I have owned one 1902 and have another in my keeping right now. If I wanted a carbine for my collection it would be a 1902. The blood lines of all 1920's is problematic to my thinking.
