I had put some partially finished pieces in a plastic tub over the Winter..they were dyed very heavily..a dark brown. When I came back 6 months later..where ever the leather had touched the sides of the plastic/rubber? box it had bleached out the dye to almost white. Most amazing thing I have had happen to me in some time! The room these are kept in is dark..pitch dark so it wasn't sunlight that did it. Only thing I can attribute it to is whatever chemical is leaching out of the plastic.

So DON"T store holsters in large poly tubs!
