Holster storage, preservation & packing???

I use plastic grocery bags.

Newspaper has bothered me because of the chemicals used in the ink and in making it. Probably irrational on my part, but since the bags are so easy to some by, I have went with the bags.

One thing to be careful of when using newspaper though. Within the last week, I noticed that a (luger) holster had newspaper put in the magaine pouch (by the former owner) to protect its shape. I had one heck of a time in getting the paper out. It was coming out in little bits and pieces. At one point in time I thought that I would have to go the hardware and look for some long skinny tweezers to do the job.
